Dementia Day

Currently suspended due to Covid-19.

​At Attleborough Day Centre we are always looking at ways to improve the lives of older people living in and around Attleborough. We are forging alliances to bring new services to the area. Through collaboration with the Alzheimer's Society and Breckland Council, we offer a 'Dementia Day' for people living with dementia and their carers. The day is an opportunity to meet others, share experiences, participate in activities and enjoy a freshly prepared hot meal.

Dementia Cafe

CURRENTLY SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID-19: Attleborough's first dementia café was held at the Day Centre in December 2014 run by the Alzheimer's Society. Attleborough Day Centre will be taking over and continuing with the café from October 2018. The Dementia Café is held on the fourth Friday of every month at the Centre, 10.30-12.30pm. This is a drop in service, so come along for a cup of tea and a chat. The Alzheimer's Society will continue to offer Dementia support.

Freshly prepared lunch

The Day Centre is pleased to be able to offer a freshly prepared lunch for those attending the morning or afternoon session. We are able to cater for special diets with advance notice. Please contact the Day Centre for more information.
